Atoms
Atoms introduction
Atoms are known to be the building blocks of life. They give the life to every living and non-living organism on this planet. All these atoms are made of the same fixed structure by having a nucleus and outer electron shells.
Protons are found in the nucleus of a cell alongside the neutrons. The number of protons are determined by the atoms atomic number found within the periodic table. The number of protons are known to hold a positive charge while the neutron holds a neutral charge as said in the name.
Around the nucleus, the electron shells obits holding the atoms electrons. The number of electron is unique to each of the atom and gives each of the atom a distinguish characteristic. The electrons are negative and are determined once again by the periodic table. The atomic number of an atom can give you the electron number it has as well as the proton number which comes in handy
The periodic table will be explained in more details in another section.
